Disc 3. I’m really enjoying the music and the mastering on this box set. Seems that this vintage period of jazz is less appreciated than others, but I’ve long enjoyed these players and their work.

Listening to Bob Crosby singing brings back memories of my Dad singing these sort of songs to we kids back when we were little. He had a very similar voice and style. Cracked us up! Wish I could hear it again.

Enjoying George Wettling’s drumming on these discs. He was quite a drummer and artist!

Really more of an AK Salim record than a Newborn Jr one.

We really don't have enough discussions about this era of jazz here. I wouldn't know where to start with Crosby but I like what I've heard.
