Yes, in the greater scheme of things the music's the important thing. I just think if you're going to bother creating artwork some effort may as well be put into it beyond what I feel was done so in this case.

I believe less effort is put into Cover Art overall nowadays .... it could be either a cost factor or simply mirroring the fact that more sales is generated via streaming ....

I agree. maybe I should just have said at the start that I find the Joel Ross cover art bizarrely horrible and left it at that 😃

You know--I think Ross chose this--his previous covers seemed personally chosen. And I don't find it so horrible.

Yes, I don't find his art horrible, and it's obviously a commissioned work representing Ross.
