According to Michael Cuscuna, Donald Byrd didn't want this released. It's weird how Blue Note has moved from a label that listened to the artists to one that just looks for the next buck.

Excellent beautiful music, as if three jazz masters had an impromptu jam session. Only that that these are Wes African master musicicians.
