But it suits today well enough! Liked it even more my second time through, but I’m already partisan to DJA’s Brookmeyer-lineage sound. Interesting and eclectic choice of inspirational figures for each composition. Would love to play the Ellington tribute on the radio at some point, but it clocks in at 30 minutes… maybe for some slow programming day over the holidays.
