No issues on side 1.  I received the record in the mail today from Decca UK.  I won't be able to listen to side 2 until Sunday but I'll report back then if there are any issues.

Thanks. If it is there, it is literally right at the start. Either a bump or dip in the vinyl. Nothing major - but annoying !

So RCA went to all the trouble of re channeling a mono date into stereo and then misspelled the venue of the recording and the name of one of the artists. Oh dear.

RE: Jay & Kai at Birdland   - french reissue with 2 typos

Bobby Hutcherson "Mosaic Select" disc 1 (of 3)

Blue Note material--this disc has "Cirrus" and most of "inner Glow." Great music, and I think influential in its form and sound. I never grow tired of this man's artistry.

Shabaka and the Ancestors “We are Sent Here by History” Impulse cd

I love Shabaka and the Ancestors. Their previous disc sent me searching out more Shabaka and though I believe he is an excellent player, none of his other “groups” or appearances has really moved me like the two discs by the Ancestors. I hope there will be more.
