dougcrates Posted August 18, 2023 Report Posted August 18, 2023 No issues on side 1. I received the record in the mail today from Decca UK. I won't be able to listen to side 2 until Sunday but I'll report back then if there are any issues. Quote

Nothing major - but annoying ! Quote

Oh dear. RE: Jay & Kai at Birdland - french reissue with 2 typos Rec. date is Oct. 17, 1954 (Lord's discography) Quote

jazzbo Posted August 18, 2023 Report Posted August 18, 2023 Bobby Hutcherson "Mosaic Select" disc 1 (of 3) Blue Note material--this disc has "Cirrus" and most of "inner Glow." Great music, and I think influential in its form and sound. I never grow tired of this man's artistry. Quote

jazzbo Posted August 18, 2023 Report Posted August 18, 2023 Shabaka and the Ancestors “We are Sent Here by History” Impulse cd I love Shabaka and the Ancestors. Their previous disc sent me searching out more Shabaka and though I believe he is an excellent player, none of his other “groups” or appearances has really moved me like the two discs by the Ancestors. I hope there will be more. Quote
