The Gonzales brothers & their Fort Apache band were a blast to see live. They cooked on that stage. Both gone far too soon.

These later Rollins studio albums have some really...craggy tenor playing, full of jagged quirk and understated vigor (sic). Nobody else could play the instrument or the music like this. Nobody. 

On this one, Stephen Scott plays the gig knowingly and Bob Cranshaw plays the gig perfectly.
