jazzbo Posted October 27, 2022 Report Posted October 27, 2022 October 11, 1983, both discs from Grateful Dead "In and Out of the Garden: Madison Square Garden ’81, ’82, ’83" box set. This is a show I will probably not revisit often. The show just seems a little ragged and the sound is not great. I did like "Drums" and "Space" more than on other shows, and I usually don't like those! Followed by "The Complete Recordings of T-Bone Walker 1940-1954" Mosaic Records disc 1. I'm revisiting this set from one of the pioneering electric guitarists. I particularly his playing and singing. I have looked and looked and can't locate the box and booklet. Maybe they're misfiled in my storage unit somewhere. Sigh. I sure would love to re-read the booklet and check the mastering info. Quote

jazzbo Posted October 28, 2022 Report Posted October 28, 2022 Carmen McRae "Singles & Albums Collection 146-1958" disc 1 I picked this up as it has Stardust and Decca singles material I don't have elsewhere. I love Carmen more and more as time goes by. What a controlled voice! Quote
