HutchFan Posted July 9, 2022 Report Posted July 9, 2022 Franco D'Andrea - Quartet Live / My Shuffle (Red, 2 LPs on 1 CD) with Tino Tracanna (ts, ss), Attilio Zanchi (b), and Gianni Cazzola (d) The two albums go together well because they were both drawn from the same concert, recorded in Montpellier, France in 1985. Outstanding.  Quote
HutchFan Posted July 10, 2022 Report Posted July 10, 2022 Streaming now via YT: Basil "Mannenberg" Coetzee & Lionel Pillay - Plum and Cherry (As Shams/The Sun, 1979) I wonder if We Are Busy Bodies is planning to reissue this LP. The music is from the same '79 session that produced the side-long title cut on Shrimp Boats. And it's got that same sort of loping, hypnotic feel.  Quote
