Do you think McCann intended the album title & photo to be ironic?  All of the women are TALLER than he is!

Yeah, it's a classic self-deprecatory sleeve. Sure it's intended to be funny. Here's another. The bandleader is the one in red, getting toughed up by a rozzer.

Not a group that I ever really "got", but they have a huge following in some circles. Giving it a listen after a conversation with a friend's brother, a fusion head, who considers this record up there with the very greatest.
