In terms of tracks, there's always that version of "Sonnymoon for Two" on 100% Proof with him and Ronnie Scott trading back and forth. Possibly this beats it in LP terms. Quote

jazzbo Posted August 20, 2021 Report Posted August 20, 2021 (edited) Yesterday afternoon I tolerated the heat upstairs and I spent a little time with my turntable setup and spun a few LPs. I'm continuing this morning with this one, not an original by any means, a 180 gram pressing I bought really cheap about 7 years ago, possibly a Scorpio boot. Doesn't sound great. Doesn't sound bad either. Tyrone Washington "Natural Essence" Edited August 20, 2021 by jazzbo Quote
jazzbo Posted August 20, 2021 Report Posted August 20, 2021 Jimmy Knepper "Idol of the Flies" a reissue of the Bethlehem lp "A Swinging Introduction to Jimmy Knepper" Quote
JSngry Posted August 20, 2021 Author Report Posted August 20, 2021 This is a new one for me. Trying to get to the 2nd CD, the previously unissued stuff, but the first one keeps pulling me back in and around. Quote
