I realized I haven't heard the true stereo version of "Milestones" in a long time so I climbed up and pulled down this box set and am listening to the appropriate tracks on discs 2 and 3.

My stereo has changed somewhat since I last heard these discs and the sound is pretty darned good, though I have better sounding versions of the mono master.

Yes! 

With Andy Gonzalez, Steve Berrios, and Joe Ford, I suppose it's not surprising that some of Black Sand has a Fort Apache Band flavor.  ... I didn't realize until recently that O'Connell sometimes subbed for Larry Willis in that group.
