JSngry Posted November 6, 2020 Author Report Posted November 6, 2020 Two Littles up front big it UP. otoh, by the time it's over, Joe Pass & NHOP & Louis Bellson get all Pablo-y and you just want to say hey, chillax, it's going fine, you don't need to force it, ok? But they don't listen, they never do, and why should they, there getting paid for doing that, right? Quote

Dan Gould Posted November 6, 2020 Report Posted November 6, 2020 About 90 minutes of The Two Tenor Boogie: Sammy Price (piano, vocals), Percy France & George Kelly (saxophones), Leonard Gaskin (bass) Ronnie Coles (drums), about a week before their appearance at the 1987 Bern Jazz Festival. Worth every penny of the $50 transfer fee to the Smithsonian. Quote
jazzbo Posted November 6, 2020 Report Posted November 6, 2020 Flora Purim "500 Miles High-- at Montreux" Milestone LP This very LP made me fall in love with Flora. I was already a big fan of Airto's but hadn't been really jealous of him yet. . . . Quote

Thanks for that Info. I have a 4 LP JATP box by Speakers Corner. Its all original VERVE material but you cannot see neither a license credit nor another cretid. Eveen considering that these "reissues" are very well pressed its not in order. I wanted to discuss this Item in the Discogs forum but the iron was too hot. Noone would like to jump on that train. And the price is really a shame IMO. Quote
