David Williams Posted April 5, 2020 Report Posted April 5, 2020 Also clarinet... Modern Jazz Quartet with Jimmy Giuffre at Music Inn... love the vibes and clarinet conbination... apart from beautiful, slinky music it's also stunningly well recorded - every breath, every shimmer. Found my vinyl copy in a flea market literally around the corner from my house. By the way, is there a secret to capturing images small enough to upload (0.1MB)? Quote

Hi David, If you use MS Windows, the free app 'Paint' will resize an image. Open the picture, click on the resize button and select pixels. If you change the long edge to 600 pixels (with aspect ratio checked) the file size will be small enough to upload yet still large enough to view. Quote

HutchFan Posted April 5, 2020 Report Posted April 5, 2020 (edited) Sonny Stitt - Legends of Acid Jazz (Prestige) Originally released as two LPs: Turn It On (1971) and Black Vibrations (1972) and Stanley Turrentine with Shirley Scott - Never Let Me Go (Blue Note) This '63 session might be my single favorite Turrentine & Scott collaboration. 1 hour ago, soulpope said: .... Yep! People talk about good food being "made with love." Well, this is music "made with love." Easy to hear it. Edited April 5, 2020 by HutchFan Quote
