I figured with the rain teeming down it was now or never. Could take a while though as CD2 with ‘Mating Call’ is getting a re-spin and I might pull the Prestige vinyl out 

So many star turns amongst the sidemen on these sessions. Mal Waldron and Art Taylor are standouts. I also noticed that Teddy Charles produced the ‘Dakar’ session - his hand in this is very noticeable listening to the music.
