bertrand Posted March 1, 2004 Report Posted March 1, 2004 (edited) Getting back to Woody Shaw This is really a beautiful site. It is a thrill to see how Woody's son is preserving his father's legacy in such a meaningful way. My son Matthew (4 next Sunday) is really into Woody's music. I made a couple of CDs for him of Woody's best moments. Some of his favorites are 'Pretty Eyes', 'Hello To The Wind', 'Mexican Hip Dance', 'Spiderman Blues' and 'The Moontrane'. In fact, we were walking through the park yesterday morning, and he started humming 'Hello To The Wind'! Bertrand. Edited March 1, 2004 by bertrand Quote

bertrand Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Matthew's current favorite tune is 'Hootnan' from Jackie's Action. He does a great imitation of Jackie when he hits the higher registers. Bertrand. Quote
