For instance, would you characterize his early work with Bobby Hutcherson (late 60's) as being part of the downward trend you describe? Whether or not we see eye to eye on this, I do really want to try to have a genuinely better understanding of where (in time) you think Land started to veer off course. For instance, how about Land on "Medina/Spiral"?? ??? I know, I'm helping derail my own thread - but I'm really liking this tangent (enough that I might even change the 'topic description'). Quote
