Lazaro Vega Posted November 9, 2016 Report Posted November 9, 2016 Last night Blue Lake Public Radio was celebrating the birthday of guitarist Russell Malone in the first part of each hour, 10 p.m. - 3 a.m. with an emphasis on two recent quartet recordings. In addition to his stellar, straight ahead guitar playing on jazz standards and originals, we also heard Malone with Diana Krall, Paul Keller, and Benny Green. I can't believe you missed this swinging program! What were you doing? Not to worry, it's available again, today only, here: www.bluelake.org/ondemand Quote

Lazaro Vega Posted November 9, 2016 Author Report Posted November 9, 2016 (edited) Thanks. The Jazz From Blue Lake files are under "Programs" and will be replaced by tonight's program on Mark Turner. So, if you want to hear Russell's program, now's the time. He recently came through with Rodney Whitaker's Bebop Spartans.
