You can still sign up. Yes, the $30 option gives you the Xmas tunes. They are in update 2:http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/organissimo/updates/77575 Quote
B3 punk Posted January 12, 2017 Report Posted January 12, 2017 (edited) I will be looking forward in anticipation to next month Jim to the new album & Bonus material. I adore Booker T's McLemore Avenue on Stax so it'll be great to have another CD full of Beatles material done with B3. Thank you also for the new Christmas tunes they came a little after the holiday for me but I enjoyed adding them to the others you've done in the past. All the best, James  Edited January 12, 2017 by B3 punk Quote
stephenrr Posted January 17, 2017 Report Posted January 17, 2017 Jim...absolutely bowled over by the cover art! Â Â Kudos...I feel like a kid at Christmas. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted January 17, 2017 Author Report Posted January 17, 2017 Thanks, guys! Yeah, the cover art came out better than I had hoped. Really excited about it! Quote

Really excited about it! Hey Jim, How do we know that the merch/disc will go to the right place? I was looking on Pledge Music to make sure I have an updated address since we moved a year ago but I couldn't see that stuff I am sure it is limited to the band/admin. Thanks. Quote
Werf Posted February 21, 2017 Report Posted February 21, 2017 B3TLES is another fine album.  WGVU radio featured Taxman, Dig A Pony, And I Love Her and Can't Buy Me Love on Monday night. Tonight we'll feature All You Need Is Love, Dear Prudence, Come Together and While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Quote
Dan Gould Posted February 21, 2017 Report Posted February 21, 2017 Well am I the first proud owner of a B3tles shirt or just the first to post about it? Quote
Ed S Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Listening to it now for the first time. Excellent stuff. Congratulation Jim! Quote
Eric Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Great album jacket, really good music, some very interesting song selections! Quote

And great packaging.  I wish all cds were packaged  this way-- saves a lot of space on your shelf and still has a readable spine. ( Not as important as the music of course.) Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 I like how the artwork mimics the original 1987 Beatles Revolver CD, from the obvious cover art to the not so obvious layout & font of the back cover. Most people would mimic the LP. I like how this mimics the CD. Quote
kh1958 Posted February 26, 2017 Report Posted February 26, 2017 My copy arrived Friday--I like it--good record. Quote
mikeweil Posted February 27, 2017 Report Posted February 27, 2017 So all the pre-orders have been shipped? Quote

I'm a bit behind because I had gigs all this weekend out of town. But yes. Everything will ship today or at the latest tomorrow. Quote
mr jazz Posted February 28, 2017 Report Posted February 28, 2017 We listened to the cd last night. Honestly, this has been done by various artists before so I wasn't sure what to expect....no worries, Jim and crew give the listener a fresh take on classic Beatles. A very enjoyable cd and I like the cover! Quote
Brad Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 I received it today and good thing as it was sent to my office and I retired today.  Listened to a few cuts and really like it, especially Taxman. Quote

Brad Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Thanks. Not sure how I feel about it yet.  It's a bit of a weird feeling. Quote
Larry Kart Posted March 1, 2017 Report Posted March 1, 2017 Have just begun to listen. Love it. First impression -- the way it's mic'ed/mixed is both somewhat new to me (though my experience may be limited in this bag) and a delight. Though distinct strands are distinct enough, organ, guitar, and drums are essentially knit together spatially and otherwise as one vibrating/pulsating unit; likewise the arrangements are not so much a matter of solo turns, though they're definitely present and striking/impressive, but of one detailed, rolling ball of musical information that has, as John and Paul said, "Come Together." In that, unless there are precedents that I'm not enough of a organ trio maven to be aware of, this is not only an excellent album but an innovative one as well. Quote
king ubu Posted March 3, 2017 Report Posted March 3, 2017 Just a quick note that CD has arrived already on the other side of the pond - looking forward to a first spin over the weekend! Quote
