Over the weekend Blue Lake Public Radio remembered pianist Hank Jones and celebrated the birthday of guitarist Kenny Burrell. Burrell grew up in Detroit, made New York by the mid-1950's and since the late 1970's is deeply involved in music education through UCLA.
