Dan Gould Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 I guess I am in between Chuck and Paul. Living the casual, work-at-home country life, if I only wear socks while working out and afterwards walk around sockless in my docksiders, then I'll probably wear those same socks the next day when I work out. But if I am wearing socks the whole day the surely go in the hamper in the evening. Quote
JSngry Posted May 4, 2016 Report Posted May 4, 2016 Just once, but the socks have to want to change? Quote

mikeweil Posted May 5, 2016 Report Posted May 5, 2016 It depends on how your feet sweat and smell. If my socks smell, I change, at least every other day. Quote

BillF Posted May 6, 2016 Author Report Posted May 6, 2016 There is, of course, the well-known story of Bird, nodding out in the Jay McShann section, then running out in his socks to take his solo. Quote

l p Posted May 6, 2016 Report Posted May 6, 2016 i may be thinking of an isolated coltrane story in one of the biographies, probably the porter one. Quote
