Like these ouvertures conducted by Horenstein. I am sure i will return to this recording with pleasure. Found a sealed copy but it's a little noisy.

By far the best recording of violin sonatas from this era on modern instruments I have ever heard. Precision,  clarity, and humor, no expressive overload. The Vorisek sonata is an overlooked gem. Reinhard Goebel contributed the excellent liner notes and was consulted by the artists. Highly recommended.
