Referentzhunter Posted April 23, 2020 Report Posted April 23, 2020 (edited) Final disc conclusion: this set definitely has his moments but also his downfalls because most pieces (almost 50 %) lacking orginality and do sound pretty similar. Tchaikovsky once said himself if i am not mistaken myself; If these sort of pianopieces is what the listeners want they will get more of them. Postnikova playing is superb, poetic when needed and in total control of the difficult technical passages. I am going to make a selection to enjoy this set to the fullest next time.
