There is a little documentary this recording (on the earlier set, to be exact): I enjoy that cd very much. Thanks for the documentary. Also prompted by Larry's post to play the Tatrai Qt. I've long thought that someone should offer a box set (or download package) of all the old Arditti recordings on Disques Montaigne. Doesn't look like it'll ever happen. Some of them (e.g. Scelsi on Stradivarius) appear to have been re-issued on other labels. Edited February 20, 2020 by T.D. Quote
JSngry Posted February 20, 2020 Report Posted February 20, 2020 I'd like for somebody to do something, for sure. A lot of the things I look for appear to be a little (or more) pricey... Quote

JSngry Posted February 21, 2020 Report Posted February 21, 2020 I like Spotify, but my habits are not such that I always have access to it when the need for casual background music or random sampling of product strikes. Besides, Arditti is not something I would consider engaging with as casual background music or random sampling anyway. Quote
