I have to confess, I don't really know much about her: but yes, I think the dance background would help identify with this piece (original commission was from Ida Rubinstein I think), and also the stage experience. And it certainly does feel natural here. I can imagine her sounding great in something like Stravinsky's Persephone too (a part Rubinstein did in the original performance, I think). 3 hours ago, soulpope said: Great recording....
