Levine has an interesting approach to Mahler - and the 7th being (IMO) the jewel in the crown ....

Yes, it's an excellent performance of the Seventh.  I would probably choose the Third as my favorite performance in Levine's set.  The Fourth is very strong too.

IMO, these three works are Levine's most convincing performances.

A very very good Mahler 5 .... actually these Audite releases are overall outstanding ....
