Maestro Carlo Maria Giulini slow things down considerably, but what a way to wallow in Brahms ....

... heartfelt Brahms. My favorite. Klemperer is a bit to cold for me compared with 'Giulini'. The Emi set is my favorite and i love the Dgg recordings also.

If I'm not mistaken, Supraphon has reissued all of the music in this set.  So that's an alternative way to hear it.  ;)
