HutchFan Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) Has anyone ever heard this record? Klaus Weiss Quintet - Child's Prayer (MRC/EMI Electrola, 1978) I've never heard it before, and I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about it. Mal Waldron's presence on the LP is what drew me to it. Here's the personnel: - Drums – Klaus Weiss - Tenor Saxophone – Roman Schwaller - Guitar – Günter Möll - Piano – Mal Waldron - Bass – Rocky Knauer I'm not familiar with any of these musicians other than Weiss and Waldron -- and Weiss only vaguely. Still, I'm intrigued. Edited January 13, 2016 by HutchFan Quote
king ubu Posted January 13, 2016 Report Posted January 13, 2016 Schwaller is pretty good, but I don't think I've heard him so early on (except with the early Vienna Art Orchestra). Quote
Homefromtheforest Posted January 14, 2016 Report Posted January 14, 2016 I have it; a nice record but not amazing. Quote

Peter Friedman Posted January 19, 2016 Report Posted January 19, 2016 Yes, I have a copy and it's a good one. A much better image. Quote
