Quasimado Posted December 2, 2015 Report Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) There is some fine Raney to be heard on the Home page and in the Music section of this site. Q Edited December 8, 2015 by Quasimado superb is too strong Quote
fasstrack Posted December 2, 2015 Author Report Posted December 2, 2015 BTW it was a mutual admiration society: Jimmy told me that Jim Hall was his favorite guitar player, and he told his son Jon that Jim's work on Jim Hall Live was 'stunning'. Quote
ArtSalt Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) I enjoyed that and the mention of Street Swingers which is a great album. Anybody know of the story behind Raney's adventures in Paris? Edited December 6, 2015 by ArtSalt Quote

ArtSalt Posted December 20, 2015 Report Posted December 20, 2015 I had one of the original 10"s and on the back cover he mentioned staying on in Paris after a tour with a big band(?) because the city had such a good jazz scene. I know only have a Japanese CD which doesn't have this interview included, at least in English. Quote
