JSngry Posted October 16, 2015 Author Report Posted October 16, 2015 Yeah, most positive vibes out to the kid, and to Moose as well. It's a trip to me how the body can be so vulnerable and so resilient all at once. Quote
Tim McG Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 If it makes anyone feel any better, he's in our football pool and participating in it each week, to include the game going on tonight. It does. Thanks, Aggie. Quote
gmonahan Posted October 17, 2015 Report Posted October 17, 2015 Good to hear about the football pool! Thanks to all who wrote about little Owen (six years old). He rather miraculously survived a serious brain injury, and though he faces a long rehabilitation, it's a lot better to have a future than none at all. We in the family are all grateful and hopeful. And I will get back to where Mark lives at some point and see if I can't find out how he's doing! gregmo Quote
Tim McG Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Great news, Greg! Glad your grandson is OK. Quote
RDK Posted December 27, 2017 Report Posted December 27, 2017 This may be old news as I'm not on the O very often these days, but it appears that Mark Combs, Jazzmoose, has passed away. I'm not sure when, but today was his birthday, prompting a Facebook reminder, and a quick look at his FB page shows several RIP comments. Thought you guys would like to know. Quote

Kevin Bresnahan Posted December 28, 2017 Report Posted December 28, 2017 Sad news. He will be missed. It looks like he died on December 15th at home. He was only 59 - far too young. Cancer sucks. No full obituary yet, but here's his death notice: http://www.lagrandeobserver.com/obituaries/5857496-151/obits-dec-20-2017 Quote
