I haven't seen James Blood Ulmer since the 1980s and would love to attend. Not sure I can make it to Austin on a Wednesday night though.

Plan to go to the DC show. Fairly small venue; should be a blast- literally.

Wish I could hit the New Orleans show myself, but life is rough.  Paul Lovens will be there in December ... that I really, really want to try and make work, but it's pretty doubtful.

Based on The Thing performance in DC last night, I would highly recommend going if you can possibly do so.  They come bearing a new album too, "SHAKE."
