FWIW, this project is by Sharony Andrews Green, who wrote the not-universally loved Grant Green: Rediscovering the Forgotten Genius of Jazz Guitar.

Hopefully the film will be better regarded than her book (for the record, I didn't have as negative a reaction to the book as some did).
