Teasing the Korean Posted June 7, 2015 Author Report Posted June 7, 2015 Warner. Does Warner still have Elektra and Asylum? Quote
GA Russell Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 Warner. Does Warner still have Elektra and Asylum? TTK, I believe so. My confusion concerns EMI material. I was comfortable with that situation until the company was purchased by Universal, which then sold many of the EMI recordings to Warner. If there was a simple, logical identification of which EMI recordings Universal sold to Warner and which it kept, I haven't seen it yet. Quote
king ubu Posted June 7, 2015 Report Posted June 7, 2015 Basically, Warner got the classical part. Jazz went to Universal. No idea about pop ... and Universal had to divest some parts, among other things the MPS catalogue. Quote
