medjuck Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 (edited) And given my ineptitude I'd prefer and easy one. Edited April 22, 2015 by medjuck Quote
l p Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 www.mp3mymp3.com/ simple to use. can select wav instead of mp3 in options. but, at least for me, have to leave the computer alone while it's recording (can't cruise the web). otherwise there are audible hiccups on the resulting recording from webpages loading, keyboard use, etc. Quote
ejp626 Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 I've used Total Recorder, though it costs a nominal amount. I actually have to reinstall this after my desktop computer died. I used to record compulsively, but seem to have kicked the habit close to a year ago and am not sure I want to start up again. Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 I've had many years of happy use of Total Recorder. Quote
medjuck Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 Thanks but Total Recorder seems to be for PCs only not Macs. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted April 22, 2015 Report Posted April 22, 2015 Dang, I use both and hadn't checked. Quote
medjuck Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 Just checked and mp3mymp3 seems to be for pcs only too. Quote
Scott Dolan Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Audacity? It's kind of a pain in the ass at first, but their are plenty of instructions and tutorials online. Quote
Stefan Wood Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 Yes, I second Audacity. A long time ago I used Rogue Amoeba's Audio Hijack. It is flawless for capturing audio, into whatever format you want. I see it is $49 for license. Still worth it. Quote
