crisp Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 I look at it this way: at least it ain't John Scott Trotter. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted June 2, 2015 Report Posted June 2, 2015 Boy there is an old memory from television in the '50s. Quote
medjuck Posted June 3, 2015 Report Posted June 3, 2015 Btw, played some of the Bing & Rosie (Clooney, that is) two disc set - and that's definitely some nice stuff! However, as with her Mosaic, I'd wish for a somewhat more interesting/committed backing band. Is that the one on RCA? I remember decades ago Coleman Hawkins naming it as one of his favorites of the year. Quote

This is the one I meant, sorry for being so unspecific: It's on Collector's Choice, and I guess it's kind of the bridge over the gap between the two Mosaics Quote
medjuck Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 The RCA must be this one. It's great. Indeed it is!.. There's one of those deluxe editions with alternate takes. Quote
