danasgoodstuff Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 I've already seen Fred & Wilma and Barnie & bettie trading partners (no, I didn't seek that out) so I don't know what there's left to see... Quote
Scott Dolan Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Shit! Who wouldn't have traded Wilma for Bettie?! It's like trading Ginger for Mary Anne. Yes, please! Quote
Bill Nelson Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Yosemite Sam goes to a gun shop and gets fingerprinted along with a criminal background check -- and is denied service.. Quote
xybert Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Seeing characters in The Simpsons using tablets, social media, and referring to other things that weren't everyday in the early nineties, always seemed so wrong to me. I've gotten more used to it now but for a long time i wished that they'd kept the show as an early nineties period piece. In before 'you still watch The Simpsons?' Not religiously but yeah it's part of my DNA at this point. Quote
Scott Dolan Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Hard to believe The Simpsons is still on. What is that show, 30 years old at this point?! Quote

I just no longer found enough of interest to keep watching. Now if they find a way to resurrect Futurama (again) I am so there (right in front of the tube)! Quote
Neal Pomea Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 (edited) Thanks to advances in speech therapy Porky Pig's stutter has been corrected! A long period of assimilation has made Pepe LaPew sound like Tom Brokaw! (Gerald Ford DEAD at the senseless age of 83, cherie.) Edited February 19, 2015 by Neal Pomea Quote
xybert Posted February 19, 2015 Report Posted February 19, 2015 Hard to believe The Simpsons is still on. What is that show, 30 years old at this point?! Just about: excluding the shorts on The Tracey Ullman show, the main series started in 1989. Seeing characters in The Simpsons using tablets, social media, and referring to other things that weren't everyday in the early nineties, always seemed so wrong to me. I've gotten more used to it now but for a long time i wished that they'd kept the show as an early nineties period piece. In before 'you still watch The Simpsons?' Now if they find a way to resurrect Futurama (again) I am so there (right in front of the tube)! Yeah my viewing of the new episodes as they screen has been pretty patchy over the last 15 years or so, however over here they play reruns pretty much every night and if i'm at home i almost always watch those or at least have them on in the background. Mostly they've stuck to older seasons but in the last couple of years they've finally started slipping some of the newer episodes in to the rerun rotation. I have to say some of them have been quite funny! Futurama is quality! Quote
