mikeweil Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 But it's good to see there are at least some members here with a classical education ... Quote
Man with the Golden Arm Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 Et Tu Brutus... March 15th is aound the corner. But we all know what happens when we try to control the start of the BFT. Quote
couw Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 yeah, Dan crosses the Alps on his elephants and messes thing up! I sure hope that the BFT master will continue to have the power over when discussions start. I would hate to see that the compiler goes through all the trouble and that then after the disks are out, it's Quote
Dan Gould Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 I resemble that remark. And henceforth I will not constrain anyone in anyway. In fact, you can count on a two-disc test for my next go-round, and quite possibly some cuts with questionable connections to jazz! So there! Nyah nyah nyah! Or as I prefer, nanny nanny poo poo!! Brad Posted March 5, 2004 Report Posted March 5, 2004 Well, from the foregoing it looks like all rules are out the window. Pity. Maybe we should amend that portion of the FAQ to indicate that anything goes. Quote

I can almost hear the voice-over coming from the other side of that fence in Dan's backyard now. Quote
randyhersom Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 The eagle has landed in Western NC. Sweeeeeet. Keeping my mouth shut for nine days will be difficult, but I'll honor the wishes of the compiler. Quote
tjobbe Posted March 6, 2004 Report Posted March 6, 2004 Hi Randy, what about whistling some tunes for us here while we are waiting for the disc to arrive cheers, Tjobbe Quote
Jim Dye Posted March 7, 2004 Author Report Posted March 7, 2004 The eagle has landed in Western NC. Sweeeeeet. Keeping my mouth shut for nine days will be difficult, but I'll honor the wishes of the compiler. Well if they arrive as fast as yours, then we'll start the discussion sooner! Also, there may be a situation where the discussion may have to go on without me for a bit. My wife is 9 months pregnant with our second son. She is due 2 weeks from this coming Monday. However, due to some precautions, there is the possibility that we may have to schedule the cesarian much sooner. Perhaps even this week! If that happens, then i'll either post here or let someone know to go ahead and get started. Quote
Brad Posted March 7, 2004 Report Posted March 7, 2004 Jim, Good luck tomorrow or when Mr. Stork comes down. Hope everything goes well for you and your wife. Quote
