I hear you there danasgoodstuff. My Dad has been diagnosed with Multiple Systems Atrophy (Parkinsonian type) and as I've inherited all his other physical things. . . well. . . I'm getting a bit afraid. It's not a good thing at all.

What's going to happen to the welfare state after May if the Eton buggers manage to fool the British public again.

That's a real fear.

The right wingers in power here have already declared the welfare state dead. We live in a 'participation society' (participatiesamenleveving) now.

A smart bit of indoctrination to get the working poor and soon to be poor(er) to resent the 'workshy' unemployed and disabled for their growing misfortune.

Thankyou Lon. And all my best to you, too.

Great pain.

MG

This is past tense now, but I fear my pain less than my inability to alleviate the pain of people I love (wife).

Not married, but I feel like you feel. It's an attitude toward fear that came from walking this earth for awhile.

For myself, I spose I fear alcohol, drugs, traffic, fire most. (List subject to change perhaps.)
