My Dad has been diagnosed with Multiple Systems Atrophy (Parkinsonian type) and as I've inherited all his other physical things. . . well. . . I'm getting a bit afraid. It's not a good thing at all. The right wingers in power here have already declared the welfare state dead. We live in a 'participation society' (participatiesamenleveving) now. A smart bit of indoctrination to get the working poor and soon to be poor(er) to resent the 'workshy' unemployed and disabled for their growing misfortune. Quote

Not married, but I feel like you feel. It's an attitude toward fear that came from walking this earth for awhile. For myself, I spose I fear alcohol, drugs, traffic, fire most.
