How do you embed videos into posts?

When I try this the video always appears as a link to the video instead of the youtube video.

Click the "Special BBCode" button above the text box (the third little symbol from the left). You'll get a window with a drop-down menu. Select "Media" from that menu and it will give you a box in which to paste the URL of your video.

This has all changed. The third symbol from the left is now u for underline. There is nothing called "Special BBC Code."

The <> button (whatever that is) has no "Media" option. The "Insert other media" button doesn't either.

Please advise.

Click the third symbol from the left - link - then paste in the URL from the video. At first, only the URL shows up, but shortly the video appears. At least, that's what's worked for me.

I think I just figured it out. You CAN just paste the link, but you then NEED to hit "Enter".

Weird.  I didn't even think of that, but sure enough it works.  Thanks.

Edit:  Also weird... I chose that video because it's a recent discovery that I love, but I suddenly seem to recall that you're a Tele guy (?).  The guitarist here is a Dutch guy named Dusty Ciggaar.  A young monster!
