danasgoodstuff Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 Not sure why they used the photo AND drawing here, they don't really make sense as the beginning and end, but the end part (even if it wasn't really, perhaps more because it wasn't) is some of my favorite trumpet playing, unauthorized recording and just plain music of all time! It's been brought up here before but, as you imply and according to a Cadence interview with Billy Root, who played on the session, the " "last session" actually took place over a year before the date listed on the record.
