jazzbo Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Kuwait for me, at least this week. Quote
Eric Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Nambia for me too, although the past week has been sky-high due to holiday parties, going-away parties, business trips, etc. Kuwait sounds pretty good right about now! Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Mostly just hard cider, drier (less sweet) varieties. Maybe 3 or 4 bottles per month average. Drier Rieslings from time to time, 6 bottles/year. Sometimes more often, but I can easily go 2 months without a drink. Quote

paul secor Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Guess I'd fit right in if I were In Kuwait - at least as far as alcohol consumption goes. I probably wouldn't fit in as far as anything else goes. Quote
GA Russell Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 It says "Find out below" but I don't see it. Am I supposed to click somewhere? Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted December 19, 2014 Author Report Posted December 19, 2014 You've clearly had too many already! Fill in the numbers of beer and/or wine and/or spirits. Put in your country. Click See How You Compare. Quote
GA Russell Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 Bev, I had to click on the small word "iFrame" for the chart to come up! I'm Kuwait at the moment, but this morning I bought a 12-pack of Trader Session IPA which should change my results by Monday! Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted December 19, 2014 Author Report Posted December 19, 2014 Must be related to different systems, cross Atlantic currency conversion or the like. Just shows up here. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted December 19, 2014 Report Posted December 19, 2014 You drink like you're from Romania, which is the fifth heaviest-drinking country in the world.I went to a couple of parties... Quote
kinuta Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Kuwait. I stopped drinking a long time ago. Quote
Van Basten II Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Kuwait, am a social drinker and since I'm not much of a social person, I don't drink much. Quote
Homefromtheforest Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 I'm from Gabon, which is 37th on the list. And apparently I drink 20% less then the average Canadian. Probably helps that I never drink hard liquor and *rarely* drink wine. I love my beer though! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 Kuwait for me, at least this week. Bah! Raving alcoholics compared to me... I have to confess that it's because of other medication I now take; I miss my Black Butte Porter! Quote
sidewinder Posted December 20, 2014 Report Posted December 20, 2014 (edited) Romania But there again, my excuse is that I have just returned from holiday. I was pushed over the edge in Vancouver.. Edited December 20, 2014 by sidewinder Quote
Jim R Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 Probably helps that I never drink hard liquor and *rarely* drink wine. I love my beer though! This described me until recently, when I found out that I need to give up alcohol altogether due to heart (a-fib) issues. I was also having increased episodes of gout after drinking beer. Oh well, I was only an occasional/social beer drinker, although I did enjoy it very much. Quote
johnblitweiler Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 Kuwait. Wouldn't want to live in that heat, don't know any Kuwaitis, so why visit there? Cancelled drinking alcohol years ago. Quote
kinuta Posted December 22, 2014 Report Posted December 22, 2014 (edited) Kuwait. Wouldn't want to live in that heat, don't know any Kuwaitis, so why visit there? Cancelled drinking alcohol years ago. Off subject but I once spent a day in Dubai. The heat was killing, and I'm used to 35-36 Tokyo summers. The road from the airport was blanketed in heat haze and it was way too hot to leave the hotel until evening. I felt sorry for the mainly Indian and Pakistani guys out tending the greenery.
