A thoroughly unimportant question, which occurred to me as I was filing away this recently acquired CD:

What in the "Q" section of your record/CD shelves?

For me, not much:

Ike Quebec

Snoozer Quinn

Paul Quinichette

Quibco U'Nite (a 2-LP free jazz jam including Daniel Carter, Perry Robinson, and Arthur Doyle, among others).

So what y'all got under "Q?"

Time for a sale and an opportunity for board members to fill out their Q section!!

First need to clean up the garage and find the damn things!

Near the bottom?

And let us not forget Johann Joachim Quantz.

I see that Wardell Quezergue has some albums under his own name over the few years...any of them worth having?

No Gene Quill, except as sideman.

I've looked at Wardell Quezergue CDs every time I've visited New Orleans. The credits and tune selections have never been such that I felt inspired to pull the trigger on any of them. Possibly my loss.

Same as you on Gene Quill.

Ooh - I need some Quartet Out! They got 'em a pretty good tenor player.

I can't stress enough how screwed up our garage is and how disinterested I became in the playing of music for a good while. There's probably a correlation there?

Quartet B - exciting Hungarian folk-jazz thing. I think this one has Archie Shepp guesting.

Oh if we are going outside jazz, Suzie Quattro. Well, I haven't got her first LP any more and in any case I have no filing system so my opinions are worthless.

And of course Queen.

Though I never owned any Queen.
