medjuck Posted October 15, 2014 Report Posted October 15, 2014 I finally gave in to the urge and spent as much as I ever have on a single disc in order to get Jazz at the Plaza vol 2 in the mistaken belief that Billie Holiday sang with the Ellington band on her two titles. Turns out she has her own backing group. It's Buck Clayton on trumpet but who's in the rhythm section? The generally excellent on-line Holiday discography lists the Ellington band. Anyone know who the other musicians are? Quote
