Kevin Bresnahan Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 I know RVG CDs seem to have fallen out of favor among most of us, but I found that this Sonny Clark set sounds great. Much better than the old Ron McMaster versions. Of course, YMMV. I'm still looking for an affordable copy of the double RVG of JJ Johnson's Blue Note recordings. Quote
felser Posted October 2, 2014 Report Posted October 2, 2014 I like the RVG's, though I have wooden ears and cheap equipment and have been using various generations of cheap Sennheiser headphones for many years. The Sennheisers just sound much better to my ears than any other headphones I've encountered. Quote
