AmirBagachelles Posted July 16, 2014 Report Posted July 16, 2014 (edited) I have been trying in vain for two months to get word (again) from Valve, who have my Predator amp remote control for repair. In May, they said the unit was done and ready to be sent back to me. I love the amp, and I really hope to recover the remote. If anybody has any info on the company's status, can you please let me know? They make some fine products, especially for our era of analog revival. I hope they did not just disappear. Thanks! Paradiddle Posted July 21, 2014 Report Posted July 21, 2014 Wow, December? I'd try two things. First, do they have a US distributor? If so, I'd contact them. Second, often times some one will leave a company, especially in small niche companies, and no one will be tasked with taking care of the previous employee;s emails and such. I see they have a phone number on their site. I'd ring them up ASAP, been way too long. Quote
AmirBagachelles Posted July 26, 2014 Author Report Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) No US distribution. I wrote to local distributors one of whom forwarded my message to the owner. Are remotes generic in the sense that I can program another to work the maybe 5 controls on my amp? Edited July 31, 2014 by AmirBagachelles Quote
Stefan Wood Posted July 30, 2014 Report Posted July 30, 2014 Perhaps. But the company would have to provide the program number, no? Quote
AmirBagachelles Posted July 31, 2014 Author Report Posted July 31, 2014 I'm good to go, got my update from the company, all is ok. Thanks. Quote
