The booklet in the Vanguard set is interesting in its revelations of Pepper running on coke for the entire residency at the Vaguard and his increasingly sinusy nasal congested dialogues. Quote

Chuck Nessa Posted July 17, 2014 Report Posted July 17, 2014 I had all of the Galaxy lps and didn't go for the box. I went for the Vanguard box because I was in Chicago for a "monumental" week at the Jazz Showcase as Art and Laurie moved East. Some info about Chicago is in the book. Quote
