I've been using AOL as my e-mail on my MAC (version 10.9.3) for many years and feel like sticking with it just because my AOL e-mail address is the one I've given out for years. In any case, I recently noticed that my AOL version is 7.3, which has to be ancient. Is there a simple way to upgrade to a better newer version without messing up all the e-mails I've got stored way? Or is there something else I can be/should be doing?

I hope to not live long enough to see a box set of the complete AOL promotional CDs.

Not to worry. I sent hundreds to the "landfill".

A few months ago, we bought a new shredder, one that can turn CDs into confetti. The after-smell is delightfully surreal.

Where is the early days of AOL now that I could put it to good use? 100 FREE MINUTES? No - a lifetime of puzzling odor. That's a deal I make every time.

As far as I know, they don't make boxes that big.

Larry, can't you use Apple Mail and just enter your account info into it? Or is AOL proprietary that you have to use online?
