felser Posted July 17, 2014 Report Posted July 17, 2014 Don't know how to describe But I-III Remasters sound new and fresh to me I picked up the deluxe 2 CD set of Led Zeppelin II over the weekend and I have to disagree with you here. This new remaster sounds nowhere near as good as the old original CD that was issued way back when. It's overly loud and trebly - painfully so when cranked up (and Zep NEEDS to be cranked up!). I picked up I and was not knocked out by the remaster or by the mono Concert recording on the second disc. A disappointment. Quote
