Peter Johnson Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 OMFG, Tony that is sweeeeeet. I've always loved TVRs. You never see them in the states, but when I've been overseas and seen them, my jaw just drops. That's a beautiful ride--can we have a pic with the top dropped? PJ Quote
Peter Johnson Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 Oops...responded before you got pic 2 up. Niiiice. Man, next time I'm in the UK I'm looking you up to go for a ride! How about a shot of the rear? Quote
tonym Posted August 9, 2004 Author Report Posted August 9, 2004 (edited) Cheers Peter. I must say some folk think they are ugly but I've always had a thing for 'wedges'; not just TVRs but cars like the old Lotus Esprit --- must be takingme back to childhood thing. Anyway I appreciate your enthusiasm. You should hear it -- the over-run is great, pops and gurgles in all the right places. Always happy to oblige. PS. I'm doing bits to the bodywork today, the odd touch up job. My blue TVR valve caps should be here today too Edited August 9, 2004 by tonym Quote
Peter Johnson Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 I've always loved the "wedge" bodies as well--always had a thing for the ragtop TR-7, myself. I guess my '92 saab 900 ragtop is a wedge of sorts...but that TVR, man...that puts the slob to shame, for sure! Congrats again on a great acquisition...you're making me think all over again about getting a project car!!! Quote
