soulpope Posted June 2, 2014 Report Share Posted June 2, 2014 (edited) I believe this was based on a well-regarded French Surrealist book's cover design (ca. 1940s), which I recently saw in a personal library. Looking back now it seems like the Lacy jacket just straightened out the letters' placement.
